Explanation: Tracking tools

Personal data

IP address, cookie identifier;

Description

“Tracking tools” are used on the website, in which cookies are accessed and the IP address processed. Tracking tools typically analyse where visitors come from, which areas are visited on a website and how often and for how long the subpages and categories are viewed. As a result, it is possible to ascertain, for example, which search terms and websites the user has entered in order to ensure a needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website. Details about cookies employed on the website, the specific purpose fulfilled by the relevant cookie and a description of how to delete these cookies can be found in the Cookie and Opt-Out Notices document.

Purpose of data processing

The use of tracking tools also serves to analyse user behaviour to allow online content to be adapted to the visitor’s interests and to learn how our services are used. On the other hand, we use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to analyse them on your behalf for the purpose of optimizing our content.

Interest in data processing

By means of tracking tools, we can target our provision to our customers, visitors and interested parties. Details on providers, functioning and information on how to delete the cookies (or plugins) employed here and to prevent tracking can be found under Cookie and Opt-Out Notices.

Explanation: Ad tracking tools

Personal data

IP address, cookie identifier;

Description

“Ad tracking tools” are also used on the website, in which cookies are also accessed and the IP address processed. By means of these ad tracking tools, we can display targeted advertising on our websites, which are (automatically) selected based on visitor preferences. Details and further particulars on the providers of these tools can be found under Cookie and Opt-Out Notices.

Purpose of data processing

By means of ad tracking tools and associated placement of advertising it is possible for us to earn money for example. In addition, based on user behaviour, we can ascertain which areas of our website might be of particular interest to visitors. This also makes it possible to display targeted advertising. Adverts are displayed appropriately to the thematic focus of our website and the user’s associated search behaviour. These ad tracking tools can therefore analyse where visitors come from, which areas of a website are visited and how often and for how long the subpages and categories are viewed. This makes it possible, for example, to ascertain which search terms and websites the user has entered in order to display relevant advertising.

Explanation: Social media tracking

Personal data

IP address, cookie identifier;

Description

A tracking tool is employed on the website, by means of which we can integrate “social media” into our range of provision. Cookies are also employed here with which the IP address for your computer is processed. If you are logged into the “social network” for the relevant provider, the provider can directly allocate the visit to our website and to your profile.

Purpose of data processing

The use of “social media tools” also serves to analyse user behaviour, the simplification of login procedures on our website and to learn whether, and if so to what extent, visitors use such media and profiles

Interest in data processing

By means of tools, we can also target our range of provision to our customers, visitors and interested parties and increase traffic through the placement of target group-oriented adverts in social media.
